Thank you for your interest in registering for our Transfer Thursday event with the Office of Admissions at The University of Texas at Austin. Our Transfer Thursday session will include a tour of the university and an information session; covering admission requirements and how to apply for transfer admission.

At this time, walking tours are only available to high school juniors and seniors, and admitted freshman students. If you are a freshman or sophomore in high school, we encourage you to review our virtual opportunities, including virtual info sessions, virtual 360 tours, and connecting with an admissions counselor.

Campus Walking Tours are for undergraduate students. For more information about Graduate programs, please contact our Graduate Admissions Center at gradus@austin.utexas.edu.

Custodial Responsibility:

If you are a current high school student, you must attend with at least one parent or guardian. The University of Texas at Austin Office of Admissions will not take custodial responsibility of minors while participating in this tour. Custodial responsibility will remain with teachers, parents, legal guardians and chaperones.

If you will be under 18 years old on the date of your tour then you must bring at least one parent or guardian as a guest. If you are a current high school student, you must attend with at least one parent or guardian. Guests:

Guided walking tours are 90-minute outdoor walking tours of campus.
Tours may be canceled in the event of a campus closure or extreme weather.
Pets are not allowed in any University buildings; service animals are permitted on campus grounds and within University buildings. More information on policies about animals on campus can be found on our Animals on Campus website.
