Fine Arts Virtual Curriculum-Specific Exploration by Department Information Session

Wednesday, October 15, 2025 at 5:30 PM until 6:30 PMCentral Daylight Time UTC -05:00

The College of Fine Arts is a hub for creativity and innovation at the University of Texas at Austin —a home for artists, performers, designers, scholars, makers, and creatives ready to change the world. We offer undergraduate degree programs within four nationally renowned departments or schools: the Butler School of Music, Department of Art and Art History, Department of Theatre and Dance, and School of Design and Creative Technologies.

Have you already attended our in-person or virtual introductory College of Fine Arts Prospective Student Information Session? This curriculum-specific session is designed and best suited for individuals who have already attended our introductory overview presentation; however, everyone is welcome.

This session includes breakout-style presentations given by each department's Admissions Coordinator. There, our Admissions Coordinators will explore each department in further detail, providing outlines of the curriculum taken in each major and extra-curricular opportunities available to all students in their departments. Register below!

Are you also interested in connecting with our Admissions Coordinators to ask questions about our supplemental application materials before or after you begin? We welcome guests to sign-up for our Application Workshop and Q&A session - which takes place on Wednesday, November 12th from 5-7pm. Register by visiting our virtual session calendar.

Our Admissions Coordinators are always available if you have questions before or after these sessions. Connect with them anytime by visiting our admissions page.

Registration is no longer available because the registration deadline has passed.
