Are a former UT Austin undergraduate student or a UT Austin graduate who wishes to enroll in the Graduate School, the Graduate School of Business or the School of Law for the first time. Left UT Austin because of academic dismissal and have not met the conditions of your dismissal. If you are not sure whether or not you are eligible to return to UT Austin, contact the dean’s office in your college.
Have a GPA lower than 2.5 (on a 4-point scale) (or a 2.0 GPA if you’ve taken only one course) on transferable coursework taken since you were last enrolled at UT Austin. You are not eligible for readmission to UT Austin until your GPA is 2.5 or higher.

Major changes: If you are readmitted to UT Austin as an undergraduate, you’ll be admitted into the college in which you were last enrolled at UT Austin. If you’d like to change your major, contact the dean’s office of the appropriate college once you’ve been admitted.
