Uniform Admissions Policy FAQ

You must submit additional information to confirm that you meet the State of Texas Uniform Admission Policy.

You may also submit SAT or ACT test scores showing you are exempt from the state's requirements.

• If you attend a Texas public school, have your school submit a letter or new transcript confirming you are pursuing or have completed the distinguished level of achievement under the Foundation program (basic Foundation High School program if you are not eligible for automatic admission). Your school may mail or fax this new information to our office.
• If you attend a Texas private school (or a Department of Defense high school), have your school counselor fill out the Texas Private High School Certification form to claim an exemption to the policy. You may return this form by uploading it yourself using our Document Upload System or by mail or fax.
